The History of Thursley Society has extensive archives of photographs of people and buildings in the village. They have numerous family histories of people who used to live and work in the village, and are always willing to try and help anyone who is researching their family roots in Thursley.

The Society holds open meetings during the year, with speakers on many historic and rural subjects. Outings are arranged to places of interest locally which have some bearing on rural and local history.

The Society does all it can to preserve the history of this old Surrey village.

For more information, you can contact the Society’s Secretary, Sally Scheffers, on 01428 605749, or visit its website:

The AGM will take place at 8.00pm on Thursday 29th October in the Village Hall.
